Does FirstPrice send a quote automatically?
No. FirstPrice prepares the working and customer document, but you review the scope, price lines, terms and final total before it is sent.
Where do the material prices come from?
Material lines use the FirstPrice merchant index. The review shows the supplier and checked date beside the price. Estimates are marked for review.
Can I use my own day rate?
Yes. Your labour days and day rate remain visible and editable. FirstPrice does not replace your commercial judgement.
What happens when a material price cannot be verified?
The line should remain clearly marked as an estimate or a check before sending. Missing data is not silently presented as a current supplier price.
Is VAT included?
The quote keeps VAT visible as a separate part of the total. You remain responsible for selecting the treatment that applies to your business and the job.
Do I need a card for my first quote?
No card is needed before your first quote. The current offer lets you price your first three jobs free.
